Impala ( Aepyceros melampus ) and Burchell's zebra ( Equus burchelli ) slaking their thirst during the dry season. The zebra heading for the water on the extreme right is in the advanced stages of pregnancy. Even during years of drought when grazing is scarce, zebra always appear to be fat and in excellent condition.
