A bull African Elephant ( Loxodonta africana ) and a tourist taking notice of each other. The tourist is fortunate that the elephant is fairly relaxed and not currently in the mood to challenge him for space. Elephant can achieve speeds of up to 40 km/h ( 25 mph) in a very short period of time and, if the vehicle above were stationary, the elephant would catch him before the tourist could get away.
