The Burchell's Coucal ( Centropus superciliosus ), uncommonly known as the Whitebrowed Coucal, often calls before, during and after rain, which gave rise to the popular name of Rainbird. The Burchell's Coucal feeds on small frogs, insects, nestling birds, mammals and reptiles.
